Compensation: $15.50-17.00 -/ Hr. (DOE)
1st Shift 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:00PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:30AM
We are looking for an Environmental Service Aide to join our team. As a EVS Aide you will be assigned to keep and maintain an area clean, attractive, safe, and sanitary within the hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Additionally, you will perform daily discharge cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, lounges, bathrooms, ancillary areas, offices, and any other areas assigned by the standard procedures of the Environmental Services department and by the facility's objectives.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Performs detailed and extensive cleaning using a systematic application of cleaning procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of chemicals and personal protective equipment i.e. goggles, gloves, aprons and slip resistant shoes.
- Select cleaning materials, load service caret and clean assigned areas.
- Clean equipment and notify manager of any necessary repairs.
- May collect hazardous waste and transport it in special closed container for sterilization.
- Collect or distribute linen, clean and soiled.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
- 1-year of Customer Service experience in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- 6 months of Healthcare Housekeeping, Hotel, or Hospitality experience
- Ability to read and write Basic English.
Must be vaccinated!
